North American Cycle Tour

Happening this summer!

Summer 2023

FOLLOW Ignite FOUNDERS, JB AND PETER, AS THEY MAKE THIS EXTRAORDINARY JOURNEY!

JB and Peter are Cycling from Canada to Mexico and want to meet up with YOU!

We’re cycling to support children in need and provide them with two essentials: healthcare and education!

In 2020, Ignite founders Peter and JB cycled to Canada’s capital city and back. In 2021, their nearly 7,000km journey took them up the Top of the World Highway and through the Yukon, British Columbia, and Alberta. In 2022, they went one step further and cycled 10,000km coast to coast across Canada!

The North American adventure begins!

Ignite founders JB Owen and Peter Giesin are spending their summer 2023 on their 4th annual cycling trip! In 2020, they traveled to Canada’s capital and back. In 2021, the duo cycled nearly 7,000km throughout western Canada. In 2022, they traveled a whopping 10,000km coast to coast on their tandem bike!

This year, they’re doing something new and going international. Their 2023 journey takes them through Alberta, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Baja California, and Baja California Sur, with their final destination in Cabo San Lucas.

“Humanity is incredible, and I see that every single time I get up and go out into the world.” — JB Owen

WHY THEY ARE DOING THIS:

Humanity needs to know what is possible. In a time riddled with confusion and the unknown, people need more than ever to have something to inspire them. Instead of living in what we’ve been told and being caught up in what once was, the world needs to look at what is possible. The possibilities that live inside of each of us will be the map to our future; a future for all.

Your gifts, talents, ideas, and possibilities are what humanity needs to move forward. All the things you aspire to create and dreams you hold dear are exactly what people need. You have so much to offer and so much to give. There is a burning light in you that will shine the way for others. How you proceed will affect how others proceed. We all need to be doing our part to show one another what is possible for all of us.

WHAT THEY WANT TO ACHIEVE:

When we look beyond ourselves and see greater possibilities for others, we pave the way for more and more people to step into what is possible for themselves. We allow possibilities to blossom and create a harvest of possibilities for every single person on the planet to enjoy. Our possibilities shine a light by which others can find their way.

Throughout the summer, we will be raising funds to build the Ignite Possibilities School of Hope in Cambodia. Educating children, inspiring young minds, and teaching that all things are possible will awaken the spirit in them. We are committed to being a catalyst in creating this knowingness of what is possible for as many children as we can.

The Ignite Humanity Canada to Mexico Cycling Adventure Supports 2 Incredible Initiatives

Classroom of Hope

This year, the couple are raising money for their next Ignite Humanity Schools in India and Turkey. They are committed to building 12 schools in 12 countries to help children gain access to education and Ignite literacy.

We are fundraising to pay for the cost of constructing the school out of eco-bricks, which recycle plastic that is currently polluting our earth. Every dollar raised adds one brick to the school, and our mission is to create a space for learning, growth, safety, empowerment, and inspiration, where students can Ignite their lives and grow into the amazing humans they are capable of being.

We’ve already built two eco-brick classrooms, and we can’t wait to do more!

The Los Cabos Children’s Foundation

With this trip’s finish line set in Los Cabos, Mexico, JB and Peter knew it was the perfect opportunity to support a charity based there, which led them to the incredible Los Cabos Children’s Foundation.

The Foundation runs and supports health and wellness programs for children in the area, prioritizing the health of children who need support for serious sicknesses and illnesses. The Foundation supports many local programs, including cancer treatment programs, intensive care units, and more.

They’ve been around for over 20 years, and have helped nearly 75,000 children get access to the healthcare they need!

Join The Movement

Anyone can start right now and begin the journey toward a dream. Ignite Possibilities will inspire, motivate, transform and uplift humidity with its desire to remind us what is possible. It will enable people to once again reach for new heights and go full out in the desire to believe in what is possible for them.

With the political, financial, and racial conversations in the world today, we need to be speaking about potential and what we can make possible. Ending world hunger is possible; saving our wildlife is possible, conserving our natural resources is possible, peace is possible; inclusion is possible. Igniting possibilities is what we need more of as we go forward. Learning how and seeing it unfold is the key to inspiring ourselves and generations to come of what we are capable of achieving.

HOW YOU CAN BE A PART OF IGNITING POSSIBILITIES WORLDWIDE:

Your commitment to Igniting Possibilities in others can be shared by contributing to our School of Possibilities building fund. We are proud to be partnering with The Classroom of Hope Organization  to build a school in the rural areas of Cambodia for deserving children. Your participation in this endeavor will make a massive difference in so many lives. Please donate at…. and share our purpose with those you know who believe in providing possibilities for those in need.
