“I didn’t read the book in order. I started with the Visionary stories before moving on to the Rebel and Adventurer stories, followed by the Dreamer and Warrior sections. I flagged certain stories so that I could easily go back to the parts that spoke to me the most; lessons learned about gratitude practices and about being in the present.
What surprised me most about Ignite was that I’d close a chapter thinking that a particular story had been interesting, even if it didn’t mirror my life in any concrete way, but then, days later, I’d find myself thinking about it.+ The stories were honest and unpolished in the best possible way. Some started out with childhood memories or routine, daily activities that would suddenly take an unexpected turn.
