These are her dreams, and she is embarking on a 50-week-long adventure to make them happen… all the while helping others accomplish their own dreams along the way.
JB is going to be challenging the norms, empowering others, and standing up for the paradigm of possibility while also inviting others to challenge their limiting beliefs and go after their dreams. Bubbling over with her signature fun-filled determination, JB will use her skills, contacts, and perseverance to inspire others as they launch themselves on the road to achieving their dreams. She will break down the idea of impossible and prove that we can accomplish our most deeply desired goals by working toward them with a firm conviction of the mind.
JB’s journey will take her across Canada — safely socially distanced, of course — where she will be raising money for the Sunshine Foundation of Canada and helping dreams come true for kids facing serious challenges. Future episodes are planned for London, Paris, New York, Tallinn, St. Pete Beach, and Beirut. She will explore what possibility means in those countries, what believing in possibilities can accomplish, and show that no matter where you start from, you can achieve all that you desire.

Anyone can start right now and begin the journey toward a dream. Ignite Possibilities will show, through JB’s devotion and those of other featured individuals, the trials and tribulations that come with breaking down barriers, facing fears, and overcoming obstacles. These individuals from around the globe will help prove how possible our dreams truly are.
In addition, she and her stars will help others in their local communities achieve their dreams through goodwill gestures and surprise encounters. Individuals who become a part of the 50-week journey can share their wishes and dreams, then wait to see if the Possibility Queen and her posse will show up to help them make their dreams come true.

Nadia La Russa is a serial entrepreneur, running six small businesses in Thunder Bay, Canada. She has a household with five teenagers and a happy social life. Being a wife to her is #1. Nadia finds joy in travel, writing, developing business ideas, and helping entrepreneurs to get their businesses launched. Nadia has been recognized in her community for her entrepreneurial efforts: Top 40 under 40 in 2014 and Influential Women of Northern Ontario Entrepreneur of the year in 2016. After joining Ignite in 2019, Nadia has celebrated co-authoring two Amazon Global best sellers. Constantly after what to do next, it’s no surprise that 50 weeks to new me is her newest passion.

She started out on a typical career path: a stint in finance, then business school, and a shot at tech entrepreneurship. But life had other plans for her. Following a complete rock bottom where she struggled with depression and PTSD, she turned her life around through therapy and meditation. From that moment on, she dedicated her life to understanding human potential. This mission took her on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery, growth and pushing the limits of what it means to be human. This desire to understand humans at the deepest level gave rise to her biggest and most ambitious dream yet: coaching astronauts who are going to Mars. Having grown up devouring science fiction authors like Isaac Asimov, she was always fascinated by space exploration and a future where humanity expands beyond Earth. Beyond the extraordinary adventure of colonizing other planets, it is the profound psychological, spiritual, social, and scientific challenges of such an endeavor that most fire up her imagination. Beyond her deep love for her work, Sorana is committed to living life with zest and passion. She is always looking for exciting new experiences, like taking her humor to the next level at a stand-up comedy course, or learning how to play polo. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that trees, plants, and animals were teachers. It was almost like they had a special connection with the Divine that humans couldn’t quite achieve. The realization that I could communicate with these beings came quite early and then got tucked away for safekeeping.
After I graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois, I worked in schools in my hometown Chicago. In 1992, I moved to Whidbey Island Washington to be closer to nature and live a more rural lifestyle. I have now been in practice as a therapist, mentor, and grief guide for over 35 years.
Living on Whidbey Island reopened my earliest connections with the natural world. I have studied with many teachers and learned many tools and techniques along the way — from traditional psychotherapy to alternative methods like alchemical healing, guided imagery, voice dialogue, mindfulness-based therapy, nature-based soul work, and vision quest.
I blend all of these traditions and techniques together, along with my intuitive and Spirit-led work, to create an individualized and powerful experience for each of my clients.
I am a three-time international bestselling author for Ignite and am currently working on my solo book about grief and nature. My TEDx talk on grief will debut on Aug. 4th. Besides writing and speaking for groups and organizations, I adore teaching and leading spiritual quests in Ireland.
